Standing with Yamileth

We are a nonprofit called Fundamental Balance, Inc. We help with mental health, education, jobs, and much more. Currently, we are partnering with a small church in Puerto Morelos, Quintana Roo, Mexico. They need our help to raise money for a young girl struggling with health issues. Yamileth has suffered from kidney and bladder problems, along with other medical complications, throughout her life. She currently needs a bladder surgery called a cystoplasty, which will enlarge and stretch her bladder. The goal of this procedure is to allow urine to flow more effectively into her enlarged bladder and, hopefully, prevent urine from backing up into her kidneys and causing further damage.

Yamileth continues to experience frequent kidney infections and currently requires a catheter. Although she may eventually need a kidney transplant, the immediate priority is to address her bladder condition and protect her remaining kidney function through the recommended surgery..
